FOC programs will offer a wide range of prevention services that will include formal and informal parenting education, building social connections, meeting families' concrete needs, and overcoming barriers to accessing mental health and/or substance use disorder services if needed. Childcare Stabilization grants for Workforce Supports
To support the child care workforce and to assist with recruitment and retention efforts, at least 75% workforce initiatives funding can be used for expenses such as bonuses, wages, supplementing healthcare costs, and more. For a full list, click the button below.

Child Care Deserts Grant for Existing Providers
Eligible providers must be operating an existing licensed child care program before January 28, 2022 and have a base RFA score of at least 30, based on their site location. To expand up to 25 NEW child care slots under their existing license.

Supportive Crisis Stabilization Centers
The Office of Mental Health (OMH) and Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) announce the availability of operational funds and state-aid for the development of 12 new Supportive Crisis Stabilization Centers within the ten economic development regions of New York State.

Suicide Prevention Program
The availability of funds to non-profit agencies and tribal organizations serving at-risk youth and/or young adults with a focus on Hispanic/Latino, Black/African American, Asian American/Pacific Islander, American Indian/Alaskan Native and LGBTQI+ populations.

healthy Steps
HealthySteps is an evidence-based program that serves both young children (ages 0-5) and their families in a pediatric healthcare setting, which is non-stigmatizing and offers universal access. This model offers the ability to instill preventative efforts through anticipatory guidance, which may enhance positive outcomes and serve to alleviate future potential mental health challenges.
